These giant scallops count as big as 4 pieces per lb, that means you can call them a quarter pounder, but these are gems of the sea. They are diver caught in the Pacific ocean down the Baja Peninsula. The wild stocks are well managed and fishing is tightly controlled. Because the scallops are diver selected by hand, there is no negative effects to the environment or ocean disruption.
